Surgical absorbable suture Synthil (PGA) trade mark IGAR  is a modern suture material.

Synthil is a sterile synthetic violet thread made of polyglycolic acid (PGA).

It has minimal tissue response, maintaining sufficient strength during the entire wound healing period. Full resorption occurs within 60-90 days by hydrolysis, producing water and carbon dioxide as a result.

Synthil under IGAR trademark is placed on the Ukrainian market since 2007,  Catgut  and Silk  of the IGAR trademark are distributed since 1997.

  • Sterilized with ethylene oxide.

ATTENTION! Synthil IGAR is a sterile product, ready for use.

Don`t  re-sterilize the product.

Synthil IGAR is designed for stitching soft tissues and/or for applying ligatures. Applied to the approximation and ligation of soft tissue, subcutaneous tissue, mucous membranes, fascia in general surgery, abdominal surgery. During operations on the gastrointestinal tract, parenchymal organs, bronchi and lungs, maxillofacial and plastic surgery. Used in dentistry, urology, oncology, traumatology, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, veterinary medicine.

Attention!
PGA threads are not recommended for joining blood vessels, heart tissue and nerve tissue. PGA is contraindicated in cases of long-term connection of tissues that are subject to significant tension.
